Hello my dear friends... After much consideration, I've decided to change my username. I've been stuck with nataliecarmen17 since i was a teenager. I don't know... for some reason I always felt I should keep it the same because it was easy to remember. But lately I've been feeling like it's so 90's and juvenile! HAHA
So I came up with a pretty cool username that kinda signifies what i love. I have always been a dreamer, and love thinking about the future and what could be. I love life and the beautiful things in it. I was trying to think of a cool word for dream, and reverie popped into my head. Then I just started thinking about words to go with it, and revive seemed to stick with me. They have a lot of the same letters, and when you put the two words together, it pretty much sums up what I do when I'm in a rut. REVIVE REVERIE...
So without further ado, my new username will be revive_reverie! That is... when I can find it in myself to pay $15.00 to change it. :)

Hello my lovelies! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after being uprooted for about a month! For those of you who didn't know, I moved from Las Vegas to Wilmington, North Carolina in mid-December! It has gone fairly smoothly, but I didn't have my stuff for a while because I had it shipped over the holidays. So needless to say, things got a little delayed.
My brothers flew out to Vegas and the three of us drove to North Carolina in a day and a half! That's right. We just drove through, only stopping for gas, food, and to use the facility. You should've seen us crammed into my little bug. HAHAHA! It was very interesting.
It was really hard leaving Nevada, where I'd lived for the last 7 years. I had a cool job and good friends, but I really missed being with my family. So I decided to move when my boyfriend and I broke up in early September. I figured that if I didn't do it now, I probably never would.
Coincidentally, my best friend moved to North Carolina in the summer. We've always wanted to live together, and things just sort of fell into place! She just bought a condo and moved in the weekend before I arrived. All of our stuff looks so good together. It's pretty remarkable. So I'm here on the east coast, in a really cool city nestled between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean! The next thing on my list is to find a job ASAP. It's a little scary, so if you believe in the power of prayer, please keep me in yours :)
I've really missed you all and can't wait to catch up on everything.
So, what did I miss?

1. List 10 movies that you're (almost) too embarrassed to love (and would never admit to having watched multiple times).
2. Include a still from the movie and an explanation as to why you like it.
3. Tag people. [Meh. I'm too lazy to tag people, but DO EEET!]

Whew! Ok, so after about a 3 week hiatus, I'm back, and ready to socialize. Just went through a hard break-up with my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years, but I am ok now. Huzzah!
I just moved in with my friend, Amber, who was kind enough to rent out one of her rooms for me. It's so lovely to live in a house again (opposed to an apartment). There's color on every wall, not that boring apartment white, and my room has 2 green walls (my favorite color!).
I'm going to set up my computer this week, and I will finally be connected to the outside world again.
I've missed you all so much. Going through my f-list looks very daunting right now, and I don't know if I will get through it all! I hope I haven't missed too much.
It's good to be back!

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;-)
( Books can be dangerous. The best ones should be labeled: This could change your life. ~Helen Exley )
Not too shabby! 32 is a lot better than 6... But still. It looks like I've got some classics to catch up on!

1. You are on a desert island. You can bring one book, one celebrity, and one cd. What do you bring.
This is going to sound so cliche, but I'd have to choose Twilight! Ask me a couple years ago, and I would've said HP. But even though I've read Twilight so many times, it still takes my breath away!
Celeb... Rob Pattinson, because let's face it. The jawline, the sex hair, the adorkableness that is RPattz. And he looks great with a tan and a beard. The man can do no wrong.
As for the cd... well that's a tough one. Hmmmm. Assuming there would be a cd player on a desert island :), I'd have to say Bob Marley's Legend. It's got all the hits, and what could be better mood music for me and the Spunk to roll around in the sand to?
2. If you never had to work, what would you do with your life?
I'd travel the world. First stop would be Japan. And take classes on languages, knitting, jewelry-making, music, the art of sushi, and basically anything else that's creative.
3. What's one thing about you that no one on your flist knows?
When I visited the Viewpoint Inn, I got to take a picture with one of the props from the Twilight movie prom set. I will be posting pictures when my friend finally decides to send me them. GUH!
4. What's one talent you wish you had?
To play the guitar.
5. What's your guiltiest pleasure?
Hehehe.... the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J. R. Ward. Oh man. These books taught me that romance novels can actually have amazing plot lines, and still be deliciously naughty! I can't even describe how much I love these books. The sixth one just came out a couple weeks ago. In a nutshell...Sexy vampire brothers protecting the vampire race...set in modern day New York state, each book is about a different brother. I'm sure
twirly will back me up on this!

And no doubt, your significant other will benefit from it as well. If you know what I mean. And I think you do! *wink wink*
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.

Who's going?!?!?!
It's been a dream of mine since I was 6 years old. And now, it's coming true!

That's right! Joey Mac, Jon, Donnie, Jordan, and Monkey face (Danny) are back! I don't even care about their new album. I just want to hear Please Don't Go Girl, Step by Step, The Right Stuff, And Hangin' Tough LIVE!!!
Just remembering what it felt like to watch my next-door neighbor get all dressed up with her big sisters and ride in a limo to the concert. I was about 6 or 7 and soooo jealous and sad that I didn't get invited. And Milli Vanilli was opening for New Kids on the Block.
October 11, 2008. You know where I'll be.
